I love the cert system. I think it’s a great outline or a suggestion. One thing I that I think EVE needs is more correlations in their system. No gun’s show info tells you that the skill Motion Prediction would make you a better gunner, but there’s a cert that says so. It’s great if you have no idea what something is used for. The recommended certs in a ship’s show info have been really helpful when looking over ships that I’ve no idea what they do.

They may not be for you, but certs definitely do add to the game. I was really, really happy when I saw them implemented.
